This set screw is located in the nose of the cutter blade to adjust the blade set back. By adjusting this set screw in the nose of the cutter, the clearance relationship between the cutter and the front cover can be established. This also adjusts the clearance between the cutter and the feed tube counterbore.

* Special note: Remember to stake the new set screw, when installing, to reduce the chances of the set screw backing out when in operation.*

This is the o-ring seal found on the top external face of the hydraulic reservoir on the Norwalk model 290 juicer. The seals purpose is to reduce juice leakage past the top stainless sheet metal and into the juicer's internal area.

The assembly is accessed through the center of the shaft by removing the handle attach screw and removing th internal allen screw. These are sold as a set of three components.

This cutter grinder blade is a direct replacement for Norwalk juicer models that have the helical (triturator) design. It comes with the side tension springs, tension ball bearings and set screws. It also comes with the cutter depth adjustment set screw installed. this set screw is set to a nominal depth, but may need a final depth adjustment. this procedure is outlined in the included instructions.
